LITHUANIAN SEA MUSEUM
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

THE PROBLEM

As the Lithuanian Navy approached its 100-year milestone, much of Lithuania’s maritime history remained out of sight. The Lithuanian Sea Museum needed to bring this heritage closer to the public and show that the sea is more than a place we visit – it is part of the country’s history, identity and future.

Our solution

A fingerprint merging with a wave became the symbol of “Maritime Lithuania / Lietuva – jūrinė valstybė” – a campaign bringing Lithuania’s maritime legacy into the present. Portraits and essays gave a voice to remarkable Lithuanian captains, films carried their stories through time, and the identity expanded across outdoor advertising, postcards, merchandise and the experimental educational book “Su jūra mes didesni”. Together, they revealed a Lithuania shaped by the sea.
