THE PROBLEM

Art education can often feel like a search for the “right” answer. Samuel Bak Museum wanted to give high school students a more open way to discover art – one that encourages curiosity, personal interpretation and independent thinking beyond the classroom or gallery.

Our solution

“Why Do We Need Art?” turns Samuel Bak’s work into an interactive digital journey built around nine recurring symbols. Students explore artworks, choose the interpretations that speak to them and form their own connections with art – without being told what is right or wrong. A digital learning experience designed to make art personal, exploratory and open to everyone.
